South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.
If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.
Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.
Most of our accommodation is centrally located to the town centre, beaches, restaurants and facilities.

Awesome accomodation
Ginette - 21st November 2021Family trip to South West Rocks! 2 families - 4 adults 4 children. A wonderful 2 storey house very spacious and nice and clean. Perfect location surrounded by the National Parks and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Great walking tracks all around and plenty of lovely wildlife kangaroos koalas etc. Only a 7 minute drive to South West Rocks Beach and main shopping precinct. Felt like we found a hidden treasure with this accomodation and unbelievably well priced. We certainly will be back again. Thank you :)
Spacious and comfortable house
KC - 8th May 2021A very relaxing holiday. It is a beautiful part of the world, quite and peaceful with many walks to explore and a lovely bay to swim in. The house is spacious and has all the equipment needed to enjoy a holiday.
Wonderful location
Renée - 14th June 2020The Tree House is delightfully located amongst native trees, and just a short walk to little bay. The house is huge, with ample space for two families. It’s also very well kitted out, with a very usable kitchen. Colder months here are a little chilly, but the house would be perfect for warmer months, staying cool and airy. The huge balcony is definitely the winning feature.

SuzMc - 11th April 2018Our family stayed here for a few nights and found the properties location just perfect. A short stroll to beaches, walking tracks and local attractions found us out and about easily. Definitely family friendly with ample beds for adults and bunks for kids. The house was clean and tidy and had a relaxed feel. We especially Loved all the wildlife that came to the verandah everyday - magpies and a family of kookaburras that were rather friendly plus all the kangaroos at the beach! We will definitely be back.

Tessa - 15th August 2016What a fantastic property !! We will come again. Perfect for large families with room for everyone. Full equipped kichen. Outdoor bbq and sprawling verandah hidden In the tree tops. Even the artwork was excellent :) great location equals an excellent stay.
