South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
The Crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfer visit Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surfskis, pushbikes, diving equipment, or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.
If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol,Smoky Cape lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.
Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Sandi - 19th April 2019Perfect place to relax,unit nicely renovated quality mattresses,new lounge new carpet in bedrooms and nice sea breezes at night. very clean throughout i was quite impressed. We could walk to everything and we could see the beach from the bedroom and balcony. The agent was very nice too she left the key out for us as we were ariving late in the evening. We will be rebooking to come back next year.

Bertrum73 - 26th January 2019Great location, close to everything. Beds were very comfortable (for a family of 5). Bathroom very good. Kitchen was OK. Needs a new stove. Cleanliness was poor on arrival. We had to rewash all cups, crockery and cooking utensils as there were still dirty. Rubbish still around when we arrived under beds, lounge and floors. We needed to vacuum carpets and wash floors. Agent notified of this the next day. Instructions for appliances would be good, Unit needs A/C as it was very hot during the night in summer.

Ronron - 10th March 2018Nicely decorated unit, close to town and main beach . Only issue we had was that the guy upstairs left his Ute parked on the side of the driveway. Which meant that we had to make a 5 point turn to get in and out of our parking spot. Maybe some NO PARKING signs on the side near the old cottage would help this . This is not the first time we have experienced this
