South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
The Crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfer visit Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surfskis, pushbikes, diving equipment, or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.
If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol,Smoky Cape lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

The location of this unit is fabulous however the amenities within the unit need to be updated. The single bed base is broken and bed head coming off the wall which meant a very uncomfortable sleep for one of our kids. Plates, glasses and cutlery were usable but not to the standard I would have expected for the price we paid for the week. Curtains are very dirty throughout the unit and I would have expected garbage bags and more than a quarter of a roll of toilet paper per bathroom would have been supplied.

But this is my second stay in Unit 8 and both times have been very disappointed with the unit .It is need of a serious update the furniture is marked and a bit smelly ..the covers on beds are threadbare and very old. As for kitchen items I found I had to bring a lot of containers cooking appliances etc as the things in the kitchen were very tired and as for the stove it needs a major overhaul. A bit disappointing considering the cost of unit and looking at next year it is gong to be $2000.00 Owners really need to give the unit a makeover

We have stayed in this unit about six times now. This time the 34 steep steps got us and we will look for a unit lower down for our next visit. Mattresses and pillows need upgrading and good bedlamps for reading are missing. However, we love the living space and the bathrooms are good.

Have stayed here 2 years and have rebooked. Views, location, layout fantastic. The downside is the unit is looking very tired. Entry key jams, air con. doesn't reach bedrooms, locks on doors worn out, had to find a broom in carpark. No sun bed. outside cushions worn out. Had to ask to get lights in park area fixed. Put a bit of downer on my stay. Upside is I am confidant LJ Hooker will have it looking great for my next stay.

We have stayed in this apartment two years running. The location is amazing, its close to everything you need. Its very comfortable, the interior furnishings are great but the outdoor furniture is tired and the sun lounge is broken and unusable. We were disappointed to find the floor filthy when we arrived. We also think WiFi should be available for a unit of this price.

So excited to stay in this apartment for Christmas. Sadly the cleanliness and some other features left my family disappointed. No globes in the bedside tables, banana lounge on main veranda was broken and unusable and the cleanliness of the kitchen, bathrooms and back verandah left a lot to be desired. Instructions to leave the BBQ cleaned but no utensils to do this. No broom to go with the dustpan so unable to sweep for the duration of our stay. Recycling requests Unable to be meet due to green bags not being provided. Lack of pillows also a issue with only one spare.
