South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.

If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.

The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Great location but...

The location is great, walking distance to shops and beach. Unfortunately the unit need some TLC and upgrades, kitchen with leaking tap, some bits damaged and the oven I think is almost antique. The lounge has some rips on the cushions. There is a smart tv but no Wifi so can not use the perks from a smart tv. It was a very cold weekend and not enough blankets around so bought a few to keep us warm instead using the airco. This place can be 5 stars with some $$ invested by owner

A Very Comfortable Stay

The property could have had a better clean-up prior to us arriving. Thank heavens for the air-conditioning. It cooled the place straight away although one of the bedrooms was still quite warm. The stairs are quite steep to get to it. The 2 queen beds were excellent, very comfortable. Showers good, laundry good. Kitchen ok. This property was $1000 below some others for the same time so I think good value for money. I'd stay there again.
