South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie.
South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
The Crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfer visit Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surfskis, pushbikes, diving equipment, or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.
If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol,Smoky Cape lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.
Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Just spent 7 nights in this lovely unit. Fantastic quite location. Well fitted out with good quality fixtures. Large balcony, modern white goods. Only downside was attention to detail on cleaning. ( mould around fridge seal, dirty microwave and sinks,lots of dust in main bedroom, sand in dryer,glass in windows and doors in need of a clean) All was reported to Letting Agent who sincerely apoligised and was making their cleaning contractors aware of issues. Would be happy to make a return booking, and would recommend to friends and family, if the unit was cleaned to the standard it deserves.

Great spot close to beach and shops but quiet with lots of birds to watch from balcony. Top end Miele appliances dont work so well in units with fridge door openers broken, fridge freezing the salad even on low setting, ice maker temperamental and complicated stovetop for those of us who are not used to complex cooktops. We appreciated the extra external blind installed so the main bedroom isnt so hot in the mornings. Thanks.

My husband and I have recently stayed 4 nights in this unit at South West Rocks (Sept 20) and found it to be very comfortable. We were joined by another couple so the two bedrooms with queen beds suited us. It is in an ideal location being close to the shopping area and beaches as well as quiet. The amenities were great with every thing needed for a short or long stay. The lock-up garage was small but my husband was able to fit our Ford Ranger in.

We have stayed here twice and have booked again for next year. The apartment is well-presented and has food quality furnishings, fittings and kitchen equipment. It is in an excellent location: close to everything, but quiet and with a beautiful outlook. The only negative thing is that main bedroom is very hot in the mornings, even with the ceiling fan on. If you’re an early riser it won’t be an issue, but if you like to sleep in it could be a challenge.

Ideal location, modern interiors and facilities including air con and dryer, a generous balcony and breezes. You can't go wrong here. Only downside - the two queen beds instead of a room with two singles for children.

We stayed in this unit for a week during the Christmas holidays. It is very spacious with a very comfortable loungeroom. The kitchen is very well equipped and all the appliances in the unit are high end. We had some difficulty with the stove top not getting hot enough but found an excellent plug-in frypan to use in its place. The beds were very comfortable and each had new TV. As we were holidaying with teenage children, single beds would have been better in the second bedroom, rather than a double. The balcony overlooked the creek and was pleasant. Shame that we did not have access to the pool that adjoins the property.
