South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.

If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Light and airy, opposite beautiful park

We have been staying in this unit around mid January for a number of years. My husband and I love it. A walk to Horseshoe Bay and shops. A five minute drive to Trial Bay. The unit is light, airy, well equipped, it now has air conditioning for those warmer days. We wake up to bird calls in park and breakfast on the verandah. A great place for a holiday.

Very Basic Accommodation

This place is OK very basic tied and could do with a bit of a make over it was quite hot and one fan that was barley working ironing board cover fell apart and Iron stopped working half way through ironing. So for around $50 the owner could get a couple of fans and a if all the owners chipped in they could get a $10 ironing board cover for the shared laundry
