South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Great location. Cleaning could be better

Stayed in unit 2 for a week. Good location with a view. The large outdoor area was very handy for having a BBQ. May need some extra time to clean the unit as there was crumbs on the floor and table, as well as a handkerchief between the cushions on the lounge. Overall I would stay there again.

I love falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrades by the new owner, they were most welcome. This isn't 5 star accommodation but it is a great location. The veranda wraps around to give excellent views and there are plenty of chairs for family and friends to congregate. No issues if its raining as half of it is under cover. Having family in other units, especially #1 makes for a great experience. I would have like the BBQ to be cleaner - we ended up purchasing our own cleaning kit for it. South West Rocks is an expensive place to holiday but it does offer unique access to the coastline that means the whole family can have fun. Word to the wise, the parking is tight in this complex. If you have a boat or trailer you will need to park the cark elsewhere and this is a hassle. Most areas near these units have limited timed parking. You will have to keep the unit clean yourself. No valet here.

This ground for unit is fabulous for families with no stairs and a great garden and beach view. We had family book the unit next door (unit 1 Northpoint) so adults and children could be spread across the 2 units coming together for meals, movie nights, games and beach time. Very comfortable unit in a wonderful and private location close to Horseshoe beach, the shops and cinema. Also a wonderful undercover outdoor entertaining area
